While this: product is used in sunscreen to block UV light and found in folic acid, It's ability to darken hair or treat vitiligo has mixed reviews. While I don't believe it will hurt you I am not sure how much it will help. And no it should not darken your skin unless you have areas of lost pigment, and there the results again are mixed.
