Depends: The common wisdom if 8x8 or 8 glasses of 8oz=64 oz per day. However, this depends on how much sweating your are doing. You do not need to set a goal, drink when you are thirsty and at meals and you should be ok. It you exercise a lot, then your needs will be 64 oz or more.
