No not really.: Exsercise and good poster are important but these measures will not correct your indented sternum (or pectus excavatum or funnel chest). The chest wall deformity is due to an abnormal growth pattern of the ribs and sternum. Depending on the severity and associated symptoms (shortness of breat, pain) there are surgical remedies for the condition (ravitch procedure, nuss procedure).
