Infected ?: You need to see your physician to make sure that a piece of glass is not broken in there or that is secondarily infected

Hard to say: That could just still be the acute reaction of the injured skin and I am wondering if you have a piece of glass in the cut. If the area remains or gets more swollen, red, warm, and you notice white discharge, then it might be infected. Keep a close eye on it and in the meantime put some antibacterial ointment on it 2-3 times a day. You might want a doc to check to see if there is still glass in it

Cut finger: If you can't bend your finger, you may have severed a tendon from the glass. Go to the ER to check it out
