Use only as needed: Avoid using the suppository frequently. It is important to have increased veggies and fruit in your child's diet, keeping well hydrated as well as having a routine for bathroom use. Having a calendar and rewards/praise can help in achieving bathroom success. Some children are afraid of having bowel movements because of discomfort with stooling. See your doctor for a treatment plan.
