Possibly: Depends on how severe the fall was and how severe the pain and swelling are. I would say that if your arm is not able to be moved without a lot of pain or discomfort or if the area is bruised or the swelling is increasing that getting that looked at sooner than later is in your best interest. You could call the surgeon who put the plate in if possible and ask them advice. They may wish to see you
