A member asked:

Can diabetes insipidus or driking too much water/urinating a lot produce low serum phosphorus?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Phosphorus losses: The answer to your question is "Yes". One can have low levels of phosphorus (P), if one has excessive urinary output. Both diabetes insipidus and increasing fluid intake will cause that.
