Salivary gland prob: Sialadenitis is inflammation, typically infectious but can be autoimmune, of one or more of the salivary glands. We have 3 main glands on either side of the face, and the biggest troublemakers from an inflammation standpoint are the parotid and submandibular glands. Usually being dehydrated or otherwise sick can predispose. An ENT can help sort out the underlying cause and offer treatment.
