Should not: Cause a cramp. That would be from something else. As you have ehlers danlos you could have pulled something . You need an eval!!

Yes: That nerve does go down the leg. It known as the sciatic nerve and it may and can give you symptoms in the calf . That should be discussed with your doctor to see what can be done
