Isotretinoin: Is an amazing drug. When used for the right reasons it is life changing. But like any drug it is not without its side effects. I think it's gotten a bad reputation with too many unsubstantiated lawsuits. If you truly have severe cystic acne or other unusual conditions that your derm feels it is appropriate for , I would take it! I have had many patients on it in my 18 years of practice without any
