No way, dude!: Marijuana won't cause toxicity to the optic nerve unless it has been laced with something toxic. The floaters are in the vitreous jelly in the back of your eye. They are unrelated. Nutritional optic neuropathy is more common in alcoholics. Make sure you eat normally and take a multivitamin with folic acid and B12.In a state with a legal supply, you don't have to worry about smoking tainted weed.
