Tell doc of alcohol: Taking prescription medications and drinking alcohol is never a good idea. In the case of bupropion interactions with alcohol include: seizures, hallucinations, delusions, paranoia, mood and behavioral changes, depression, suicidal thoughts, anxiety, and panic attacks. Make sure you let your doctor know of your alcohol use so that they may counsel you further on the risks.

Yes: 1. Bupropion SR 150 mg is a discontinued medication - check to see if you are on a different formulation 2. Bupropion can lower the seizure threshold that we all have, that coupled with heavy drinking on a weekend then stopping increases your risk of seizures 3. All medications that can effect the brain can make you have a stronger reaction and/or delayed reaction to alcohol - be careful
