A 28-year-old member asked:

Is taking 100mg of nortriptalyne with 150mg of bupropion x-r long term safe? is this a healthy liver combo for someone who used to drink very heavily?

Risky combination: Combining these medications may increase the risk of seizures, which may occur rarely with either medication. In addition, buPROPion can increase the blood levels of nortriptyline, which may increase other side effects. Ref: https://www.drugs.com/interactions-check.php?drug_list=440-0,1734-0
