Night owl: The best way to stay awake is to be well rested. If you get enough sleep on a regular basis it will be much easier for you to stay awake when you absolutely must. Avoid sugar, eat more protein (almonds, cashews) snack on peanut butter and celery, don't eat huge meals, avoid starchy foods, drink cold water.
