Protection: Tonsil stones cause tiny tears in the epithelium that they overlie and admit throat bacteria. The lymph node on that side drains the region. It's to protect you. Ask your physician whether your tonsil can be laser-resurfaced so you don't get these.

When i press my tonsils then yellowish exudate comes . no fever no inflammation of tonsils. It comes in crypts sometimes. Enlarge right jaw lymph node?
Small, hard bump, somewhat moveable, under jaw near where tonsils are. Not painful and cant be seen / not swollen. Only feel it on left side when I press under and along inner side of jawbone. Lymph node? Calcified? Scarred? Have tonsil stones, too?
Very small yellow round cyst like swelling right above/attached the right tonsil. Had a head cold before this appeared, looks like it is filled with soft material/mucus? No fever, no swelling of lymph nodes and sore throat has cleared. Virus?
