Back pain: Ankylosing Spondylitis is similar to Ra and the treatments overlap, consider a TNF like humira, simponi, (golimumab) enbrel ext. that will help with pain and slow the progression of the disease. An NSAID will also help with the stiffness and pain. Discuss the options with your Rheumatologist. There are treatments that can sig decrease your pain and increase your quality of life.
