Sounds like tarter: The "yellow" deposits you descibe sound like calcified plaque, commonly called tarter. These deposits can build even with sound oral hygiene and require professional cleanings to maintain a healthy teeth and gums. You may even require these professional visits more than twice a year. Not to remove them could lead to serious gum disease and eventual tooth lose. So take control and see your dentist!

Orange deposits: You may have calculus (tarter) on your teeth that stains from the foods that you eat. Best advice is to see your Dentist, especially if it has been more than 6 months since your last examination, and having your teeth professionally cleaned remove the accretions that you can't remove no matter how exemplary your oral hygiene. Schedule with your Dentist.
