Donepezil & memory: Because donepezil (aricept, a cholinesterase inhibitor) and Nemenda (memantine, an NMDA receptor antagonist) are both used to treat memory disorders, it is difficult to establish if a patient, who already suffers from a form of dementia is having a side effect, or is experiencing progression of their memory problem. See ur prescribing doc. S/He, who knows your course & history, can determine 4 u!
