Gassy Pain: As you suspect the pain is from increased gases. Can treat with OTC Anti Gas medications. However if this is an ongoing matter you should have the doctor evaluate and get further studies if necessary. if you have any accompanying symptoms such as Nausea , vomiting fever, loss of appetite are red flags for other problems such as acute appendicitis. Which is an EMERGENCY.
