I have a strawberry hemangioma. i read that they disappear by the age 10. how true is this and why is mine still there?

Often not true: You're an adult now, and if this helps you understand that not everything that you read is true, then I'm glad. A majority of strawberry hemangiomas fade at least some in the years after birth. If you don't like your birthmark, see about laser treatment.
