Realize it is: Happening is the first best step. Then relax, depending on where the spasm is walk or do something to either distract or work it out. Also try to figure out what the triggers are, emotional or physical, and get to work on them, be patient it might take time. If physical youigjt need help from your doc.

Get better diagnosis: "Habit spasm" is a very imprecise diagnosis. And, the fact that it apparently happens "all over" in you means it has nothing to do with habit. You might have chorea, dyskinesia, dystonia, or other movement disorder - various manifestations of the nervous system problems. So, first step: get a more accurate diagnosis.
