Are you ok now?: Back part of throat, & nose are connected. So some times nasal congestion gets into back of the throat and be swallowed. Try to blow your nose if you feel suffocated. Also ask you parents to get you do Steam Inhalation (Vicks Vaporub has kit available) which helps congestion and breathing.
