For what cancers does chemotherapy with cytoxan, (cyclophosphamide) 5-fu help?

5FU/cytoxan: Are you referring to combination of Cytoxan and 5fu (fluorouracil)? Or each individual 5-FU or cytoxan? Cytoxan, 5-FU combined with Methotrexate in the cmf regimen-or combination of 5fu (fluorouracil), Cytoxan and epirubicin/adriamycin in fec or fac are chemotherapy regimens for breast cancer. Otherwise, 5-FU is not commonly combined with cytoxan.

Not a standard treat: Cytoxan (cyclophosphamide) and 5-fu jused to be used as first line chemo for breast cancer, but there are much more effacious drugs available now. I would not use these drugs now as first line treatment fofr anything except in special circumstances.
