See doctor: Loss of strength in the upper extremities is a concerning sign that could indicate significant nerve damage. Consultation with a doctor is warranted for evaluation, testing and diagnosis.

Motor Neuropathy : Diabetic or other neuropathy can affect the motor or sensitive aspects of neurotransmission. The most common is sensorial deficit (numbness or parestesia) but also affect the muscle strength and coordination of those muscles. It is necessary to rule out compression of the nerve, usually at the cervical level, and vitamin deficiencies too.
