Walking: The average is 12 months, but there is a range of ages where children start to walk. Have your child evaluated by a doctor to see if this is isolaed, or if there are other areas of delay, such as speech or fine motor.

??former premi ??: For a regular newborn at term I expect them to pull to stand & cruise along furniture before they hit 15 mo. Independent walking at 15 mo is at the far end of the normal range. For infants born prematurely we adjust these parameters for the number of weeks/months they were early.I would discuss your case with the pcp & see if an early childhood program (pt) is needed.
