My right foot is swollen which is abnormal for me because i usually do not swell. it's tender to touch along with the foot, what could this be?

Swelling: If there has been no injury, the swelling and discomfort may be from inflammation-probably in a joint. Another possibility is swelling due to an insect bite but there would be associated redness and/or itchiness. Try applying heat or cold, elevate the foot and,if you can take them,NSAIDS like ibuprofen may help. See your physician if symptoms persist or worsen.

Many: Answers. Could be gout cellulitis arthritis sprain or other inflammation take some advil (ibuprofen) if it doesn't improve call your doctor.
