Watch for symptoms: When you swallow something that is small usually the body gets rid of it in your stools. However, if the object is significantly large it might cause intestinal obstruction which requires immediate evaluation. You might present with abdominal pain and difficulty passing stools. If you are presenting symptoms please consider going to the ED.
