Has anyone investigated the use of mitotane to treat gad or other anxiety disorders?

No,not yet.: Mitotane or Lysodren is an adrenal cytotoxic agent whose exact mechanism of action is unknown. It works by slowing adrenal gland function and I can see why it may eventually be used to treat GAD. The severe side-effectys especially allergic reactions to it may limit its use.
