If treated-UNLIKELY: Make sure the child is seen, evaluated, and treated. Dehydration can occur easily in a 2 yo, so make sure they are well hydrated. Antibiotics may be needed, etc. Statistically speaking, it would be very unlikely for the 2 yo to be in any danger of a fatality occurring. best wishes..
