A member asked:

Have been on norvasc (amlodipine) and now they want to change me to caduet. ok?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably great: Norvasc is the trade name for amlodipine, which is a blood pressure medicine. Caduet is the trade name for a combination med that has Atorvastatin (trade name lipitor) and amlodipine in one pill. It is an excellent choice for people with elevated cholesterol, high blood pressure and/or risk for heart disease who want to take just one pill. Both amlodipine and Atorvastatin are now generic.
