It could be yeast: Hi, A yeast rash is very common in babies. It usually occurs in the diaper area, but can occur in any warm, moist area. It is the same fungus that causes thrush. The yeast rash is fairly red with small dots around the main rash, called satellite lesions. It is easily treated with a prescription cream.
