No: See prior answer for details of some of causes of partial paralysis and finding the cause as first step in the treatment. Stress can cause, either directly or indirectly, most any pathology the body experiences. It does not cause paralysis directly. The exception is a conversion reaction (also cause hysteria) where the mind 'causes' paralysis without actual damage to the nervous system.
