No OTC med: There are no non-prescription meds that reliably treat generalized anxiety disorder (GAD). In addition to tranquilizers such as Lorazepam (listed on your profile), there are also buspirone (Buspar) & the SSRI antidepressants, which treat GAD & are non-addictive. They are not OTC. Psychotherapy can help as well.
