Just monitor: This is not uncommon for children to get into things and eat things or put things in their mouths they should not. Just monitor the child for any illnesses in the next few days, but all in all, the odds are, he will be fine.

I would consult with: his pediatrician as infections can be transmitted via bird droppings.

Maybe: I have no idea what may have been in the bird droppings. My advised is to keep an eye on your son if there is any change in him like poor appetite or change in bowels, diarrhea. nausea & vomiting, rash, irritability or if you perceive that he is not the same as before have him seen by his pediatrician.
