Had icsi it hasn't worked and i am now on my period it started sunday 22nd heavy and extremely painful.is this extreme pain normal?

See your MD: I would speak with your OBGYN or Primary Care Physician about this ASAP. I am not an expert in this field however, it doesn't sound like a "common" side effect. You may even need to get some Rx only Pain med's to manage your pain it is Severe. If OTC med's aren't helping maybe this does call for the use of Vicodin or Percocet at the lowest possible dose on the occasion you have your period.
