Yes: Menstrual flow tends to change after a pregnancy. It may take a few months after the abortion to go back to normal cycles. If your cycles are coming regularly, then it is fine. If your cycles are irregular after 3 months, then see a doctor.

Womens' bodies react: differently to post-abortion menstruation. It also depends on how your flow was prior to the abortion. The initial was light b/cyour lining had to be emptied , the subsequent can be heavy because your lining had to build up (in a way) rapidly depending on the time of your cycle and your hormone level.
