A member asked:

I am 52 yrs. female, spent 3 yrs. recovering from injury. now its hard to walk at times, i groan, ache, limp, hurt. what is wrong with me?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Several causes: If your recovery involved a great deal of time being sedentary, it is possible that your muscles are not strong, and your joints might not be as flexible. It is also possible that your aches and pains are related to your previous injury. There are other illnesses that can cause aching, such as rheumatoid arthritis, polymyalgia rheumatica, and fibromyalgia, so I suggest a visit to your doctor.
