See details: Have the issue evaluated by a doctor. An ultrasound of the leg is a good diagnostic test for clots. You do not need a venogram.

Reflux: Such vein problems can usually be managed nonoperatively with compression stockings and leg elevation. You do not need a venogram to make Dx. Venous duplex &/or PPG in an accredited vascular laboratory can confirm venous insufficiency. Reluctance to perform venogram or venous ablation with Hx P Vera as this makes you prone to clotting which could complicate either. Follow with vascular surgeon.
