CAD in women: Often women have the same symptoms as men, however, women can more frequently than men have atypical symptoms such as nausea, shortness of breath or heart failure. This is because women develop heart disease at an older age and with other illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension and kidney disease. In women ther may be no early warning symptoms of heart disease.
