I got a uti and was prescribed septra (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) for 5 days. i have taken 3 days & still test positive for leu. is it working still? what should i do?

Continue medication: Please continue to take the full course of medication. If your symptoms have not improved AFTER the full 5 days of treatment, speak again with your doctor. It does sometimes take a few days for your symptoms and lab results to normalize after starting a medication.
