A member asked:

Is it possible for a child to have a mixture of both parents ears or different ears from parents??

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ear shape: Ear shape comes form multiple genes, so is a combination of both parents. One child may have a close to 50/50 mix, while another child of the same parents may look more like one than the other. There are also some non-genetic factors that come into play, so all added up, your ears are your own!
