Not unusual: It's not unusual to have irregular spotting or bleeding with an IUD. It may stop in the near future or may persist. If it persists, further evaluation may be needed. See your doctor if it continues

Irregular bleeding: Its not unusual to have some abnormal bleeding when first coming off the pill but also when an IUD is placed. It should correct itself in the next cycle.
