Virus: Her fever could still be due to a virus that she likely contacted, which had caused her vomiting. Most fevers from viruses should get better within three days. If she has a fever beyond 72 hrs, or signs of dehydration (hasn't urinated in 8 hours), unconscionable, or new/concerning symptoms, she should see the doctor. Best wishes
