Yes!: Loss of interest, withdrawal, isolation are some of the common symptoms of depression that have an evident effect on one's social life. Sense of worthlessness, inadequacy and low self esteem, are other symptoms that clearly affect one's social skills. In contrast, self confidence characterises socially skilled individuals.
