That depends: on just how painful it is. Most docs have coverage when they are away, or slots for emergency appointments, so try to see a dr. asap if the pain is severe and you have tried over the counter pain medications, hot packs, pain soothing creams like "ben-gay" or "icy hot" etc. Good luck.
