My 2 year old son has a spreading rash all over his legs but nowhere else, not sure whether i need to speak to someone, he is fine in himself?

Yes: If the rash looks like lots of dots that do not go away when you press on them, he may have something like Henoch Schoenlein purpura, a condition that presents with this kind if rash and involves the kidneys. If this is not the case it is still advisable to have a medical professional look at the rash for other causes.
