Had surgery for a ingrow toe nail it has been six month wound won't heal?

Something is wrong: Gosh, why wait sooooo long? What has gone on during that period of time....this is way too long of a time period for this to be going on. Did it heal and then perhaps come back?mor never healed? Did the doctor attempt to redo the procedure? Sometimes nail spicule is left behind, or a cyst develops.....you need to get this fixed. I'd also get xrays to make sure no bone involvement.
