Parasite cycle: The growth of intestinal worms usually results from the injection of the egg, or other immature form of the adult worm. These types of encounters usually result from contaminated soil, raw fish, undercooked pork, etc. The most common infection from chicken and eggs is the bacterium Salmonella, of which there are a number of species.

Don't eat raw meat: The most common worms found in meat-tapeworms-are really only contracted when you consume raw or undercooked beef or pork.Theireggs can also be passed with bowel movements,so someone who is infected and does not properly wash their hands after using the bathroom can spread them.Pinworms are contracted by accidentally swallowing their eggs-usually kids passing them-and cause itching around the anus
