H.E.E.N.T. exam: This can vary greatly depending on symptoms. In general, otolaryngologists focus on the heent (head, eyes, ears, nose, throat) exam, and can often perform specialized in-office exams such as: microscopic otologic exam (detailed ear exam & wax removal), flexible nasopharyngoscopy (fiberoptic nose and throat exam), video stroboscopy (vocal cords exam), or rigid rhinoscopy (exam of nasal passages).

ENT Exam: The exams depend on the history but they often use scopes, mirrors, ct scans, ear exams, audiology (hearing tests ), cultures, allergy testing, and other modalities. They are usually not painful so don't suffer in silence.
