Varicocele recur: Unlikely that you could cause the recurrence in 5 days since a varicocelectomy is usually performed by tying off veins that lead to the testicle. You could just have swelling from the surgery or bruising due to reopening of small veins where the surgery was performed. After any scrotal surgery, 1 week of scrotal support, ice pack, and Ibuprofen will help heal things.
